“Those articles in Balochistan Liberation Charter that relate to Balochistan’s independence and One Person One vote after independence cannot be amended in any case. Our youth and leaders have sacrificed for an Independent Balochistan, we will not go back a single inch from our stance,” said Baloch leader Hyrbiyar Marri in a meeting with Khan of Kalat, Mir Suleiman Daud, in Cardiff, United Kingdom.

According to details Baloch leader Hyrbiyar Marri met Khan of kalat and presented him the copy of Balochistan Liberation Charter for suggestions. Both the leaders said that due to frustration Pakistani security forces are killing Baloch youth. In these conditions it is responsibility of Baloch leaders to unite and inform the world in a better way about state terrorism and brutalities in Balochistan.

The leaders agreed that the problem of human rights violations in Balochistan and its solution that rests in an Independent Balochistan would be raised in every forum of world. If we could succeed in these steps all differences between us will fade away and we will be able to further the cause of Balochistan’s independence in a better and organized way.


Returning from Geneva meeting, where he had met Brahumdagh Bugti, the Baloch leader Hyrbiyar Marri contacted Khan of Kalat on 13th February and talked to him about Balochistan Liberation Charter. Both the leaders met on 15th February in Britain’s city Cardiff. The leaders agreed that Balochistan Liberation Charter is a necessity in current conditions. They said after approval of Balochistan Liberation Charter it will be easier for us to raise awareness on world level about the type of Independent Balochistan that we are struggling for.

This charter is a proof in front of the whole world and our nation that we are defining the power limits and authorities that Balochistan’s future government will enjoy. This portrays our honest intentions that are for the protection of our interests and avoidance of conflicts with International interests. These will be the basis of an independent, sovereign and neutral country that will follow the international law and assure peace and prosperity in the region.

The Baloch leader, Hyrbiyar Marri, informed Khan of kalat that there are more than 80 articles in the Charter, which were put forward by pro-independence Baloch and me. If we can present this charter with mutual understanding and unity, our second step will be the formation of a provisional constitution for Independent Balochistan.

Hyrbiyar said that I intend to send this Charter to all Baloch leaders so that the consent and approval for an Independent Balochistan of all stakeholders is obtained. I don’t want anyone to say in future that there is disunity between Baloch leaders because of ego. That is why I have taken the initiative myself and as far as possible I will go and meet the leaders and will send it through my friends to other leaders where it is not possible for me to go.

Khan of Kalat emphasized the need of unity between Baloch leaders and assured that he will thoroughly read this charter and will send his written suggestions soon. He also suggested that there is a need of co-ordination between all Baloch leaders.

Hyrbiyar Marri also said that Pakistan has failed to quash the Baloch freedom movement even through its brutal kill and dump policy. So it is now trying to use the fundamentalist Jihadi forces against the secular and tolerant Baloch nation. Difa-e-Pakistan council is in fact a group of those proxies of ISI and other Pakistani Intelligence agencies which are known to US and International community since long. We therefore request those powers, who are trying to crush the international terrorism, to stop the intervention of Pakistani backed Jihadist forces in Balochistan. The world must know that Baloch nation and their struggle has restricted the jihadist forces from making Balochistan there sanctuary and safe heaven. Pakistan is very much anguished on this so if the world wants the Balochistan to not be an extremist safe heaven than they should openly support the struggle of Baloch nation for an independent Balochistan.

Mr. Hyrbiyar appealed the Baloch leaders to stop expecting or pleading from Pakistan and stressed that we are the owners of Balochistan and we don’t need to beg anything from Pakistan. If we need anything that is unity between us so that we can smoothly achieve our target of Independent Balochistan.

On Thursday Hyrbiyar Marri also had a telephonic conversation about Balochistan Liberation Charter with the leader of Balochistan National Party, Sardar Akhtar Mengal. Hyrbiyar Marri said that It is not possible for him to travel to Dubai because of travel documents and his unsuitable relations with the government of United Emirates. That is why he is sending the Liberation Charter to Sardar Akhtar Mengal through his friends for his suggestions. They will properly invite Sardar Akhtar Mengal to be a party to this charter.
