The Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) have ambushed the convoy of Frontier Corps (FC) ,as a result 40 personnels killed and more than 15 injured ,while three vehicles completely destroyed and large number of weapons also being taken away,BBC Urdu reported.


Occupied Balochistan,TURBAT:At least 14 security personnel, including two Junior Commissioned Officers (JCO), were killed in an ambush near Buleida, about 50-kilometer from Turbat city, Balochistan on Wednesday night.

According to sources, three vehicles carrying Frontier Corps (FC) personnel came under attack by a group of men armed with sophisticated weapons in the mountainous areas of Wakai near Nawano check post.

Assailants fired rockets at their vehicles, destroying them.

As a result, 14 security personnel, including two JCOs were killed. However, there was no report of any causality for the assailants.

A heavy contingent of FC and law enforcement agencies rushed to the spot soon after the blast. An exchange of fire also took place between paramilitary troops and the attackers. The bodies were shifted to district headquarters hospital.“The incident took place in a mountainous area about 50 kilometers from Turbat city,” an official confirmed.


A BLF spokesman, Gohram Baloch, calling from an unknown place told newsmen that his organisation carried out the attack.
The BLF spokesman further said that they have also taken away the large numbers of FC weapons ,including 17 Rifles, 2 G3 , 2 AK47 (Kalashnikovs) and 1 LMG (Light Machine Gun).
