Occupied Balochistan: gunmen on a motorcycle attacked a police van on the Samungli road Quetta, leaving a constable dead and two policemen injured. The deceased was identified as Nazar Mohammad and the injured policemen as Naeem Shah and Sakhidad.

In another incident, a security man was shot dead in Killi Geo, a locality on the outskirts of Quetta.

The deceased, an employee of Police Foundation, had been posted as a guard at the PTV centre.

Also in Quetta, gunmen killed a trader belonging to Hazara tribe in the Hazargangi area. Sources said Asad Ali Hazara was sitting in his shop when the gunmen opened fire. He died on the spot.


In another incident in Mastung, a man was injured when someone hurled a grenade in his house. Haji Nazir was taken to the civil hospital.

Meanwhile unknown men gunned down a police official in Mastung town.
According to sources a police official namely Barkat Shah was on his way to his office when unknown men riding on motorbike opened fire on him. In a result he died on the spot.
