Two DCOs’ homes attacked in Balochistan
A grenade was hurled at the home of the Kalat district coordination
officer on Tuesday. According to sources, the grenade exploded in the
backyard of the house. On Monday night, a bomb also exploded near the

Rail track blown up in DM Jamali, bomb blast in Mastung
The main railway track near Dera Murad Jamali, some 250km east of here,
was blown up late on Monday night, severing rail link between the
provincial capital and rest of the country for a second time in 24
hours. Meanwhile a powerful explosion was heard in the township of

Rocket hits Quetta cantonment, city plunges into darkness
A rocket attack on a grid station triggered an extensive power failure
in Quetta on Saturday. The rocket struck a transformer, which caught
fire; suspending power supply to a large part of Quetta was disconnected

Bomb blast kills three suspected militants in eastern Pakistan
Two suspected suicide attackers were blown to pieces when the explosive
device they were carrying exploded in the eastern Pakistani town of
Chichawatni early Saturday. Another injured in the blast died later.
Pakistan is in the grip of chaos, as just in suicide bombing attacks
over 37 people have been killed since this January across the country,
including in capital Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta. Mean while
Pakistani army is suffering heavy casualties and huge economical losses
in attacks by Baloch Freedom Fighters. All the sign of a failed state.

The rail link between Quetta and the rest of the country was cut off as
insurgents blew up a main railway line near Quetta late on Tuesday

Nasrollah ShanbeZahi has been executed by hanging in public on Monday
(19-02-2007; 10:00 AM) at local time in capital of Balochistan, the
official Islamic Republic News Agency reported. An Iranian revolutionary
court in Balochistan accused Mr. Shanbezhai a day after the last week's
bombing that killed 11 members of The Elite Revolutionary Guards who are
not accountable to any other authorities but are directly under the

Gunmen attack Pakistani minister in Balochistan, gas pipeline blown up
in Quetta
Gunmen attacked the convoy of a Pakistani government minister in the
restive southwestern province of Balochistan on Tuesday but he escaped
unhurt. Earlier on Tuesday, Baloch freedom fighters blew up a gas
pipeline on the outskirts of Quetta, cutting supplies to four districts
near the city and a 95 MW city power plant. Supplies might be restored

Seven FC killed nine injured in Dera Bugti District
Pakistani army suffers several casualties in attacks by Baloch freedom
fighters in Marri and Bugti areas. During last 24 hours Pakistani army
came under five insurgent attacks in Pirkoh, Sangsila and Sui Tratani.
At least seven Punjabi army solders killed and nine injured on Sunday.

powerful bomb blast kills 15 and at least 25 injured
A suspected suicide bomber in Quetta killed 15 people, including a judge
and injured atleast 25 in a courtroom in the city of Quetta on Saturday,
the latest in a series of suicide blasts to have sent shudders through
the country. Officials in Quetta were unsure who carried out Saturday's
blast. "Initially we suspect Baloch Nationalist, as well as Afghan
Taliban could be behind the attack," Razak Bugti, a spokesman for the

Missing Marri tribesman returns in a bad shape
A jirga member of the Marri tribe missing from july 2005 return home in
a bad shape on Wednesday night. In a press release issued here on
Thursday, a spokesman for the Anjuman Ittehad Marri said that Haji
Mohammad Jan Marri had been abandoned at a deserted place near Quetta.

Four soldiers killed several injured near Kahan, gas pipeline blown up
near Kashmore
In an attack on army camp in the Marri area of Tratani, four soldiers
killed and several injured. A gas pipeline was blown up near Kashmore on
Wednesday causing suspension of gas to the purification plant. It is the
second incidence of gas pipeline blowing up in last 24 hours in the

A bomb ripped through gas pipeline in the main gas producing town of Sui
in Balochistan on Wednesday, no casualties reported but suspending gas

Punjabi shopkeeper killed, two injured in Quetta
A Punjabi shopkeeper was killed and two others suffered injuries when
armed men opened fire at a shop near Askrai Park in cantonment area on
Monday night. When looting, plunder, abduction, killing and now arrests
of Baloch women and children have become the order of the day. When such
rules are being set by the Punjabi rulers then killing of Punjabis in
Balochistan could not come as a surprise, such reactions are based upon
the frustration of the common people who have nothing more to lose now,

Gas pipeline blown up in Sariab area of Quetta
A main gas pipeline in the Sariab area was blown up on Saturday,
suspending supply to a major parts of the Quetta, Pishin, Ziarat city,
the cantonment area and other villages were suspended. The gas pipeline
caught fire in the blast and the SSGC had to stop gas supply to control

Road side blast in Dera Bugti, four seriously injured
Three army personnel were critically injured when their vehicle was
targeted with a remote controlled road side bomb. Anti personnel
landmines explosion injures an Punjabi informer in Dera Bugti area on
Saturday. Meanwhile, Wadera Alam Khan a commander of Baloch freedom
fighters said on telephone that security forces have suffered more
