OGDC, Marri Gas awarded oil exploration
licences
The Government of Pakistan has granted four petroleum exploration licences
with two being granted to both Oil and Gas Development Company Ltd (OGDCL)
and Marri Gas Company Ltd (MGCL) and the remaining two to OGDCL only. This

Root causes of terrorism in Balochistan
Balochistan Police, intelligence agencies and the Frontier Corps have
raided Quetta, Dera Murad Jamali, Jaffarabad, Naseerabad, Ziarat and
Khuzdar as if they were acting on a plan of action decided before the
attack in Quetta. They say they have also recovered “a dozen bombs
with timers, 122 detonators, 11 Kalashnikovs and 3,052 bullets from them”.
