Balochvoice and Balochistan Rights Movement Joint press releases Balochvoice and Balochistan Rights Movement Date 7.7.02 Joint press release Crisis in Balochistan The Baloch, no stranger to the Pakistan’s Punjabi Army’s violations of civil rights; The Pakistani establishment has continuously suppressed, violated and subdued the Baloch people and looted their motherland systematically and progressively and the world has turned a blind eye to the crises in Balochistan. But now the Baloch have pinned hope in the international community especially in the human rights defender and other organizations who work for justice and equality in today’s world (The Global village). The Punjabi establishment should be warned that the Baloch have realized through years of repression and suffrage at the hands of the Punjabi Pakistan that together we stand and divided we fall. The Bugti’s are not alone; the Baloch will no longer be a spectator and a witness to the massacre being planed for the Bugti’s or other Balochs. We are in the 21st century, the power of the communication via media and the Internet it is no longer possible to commit closed door’s genocide, some thing the Paki-Punjabis so accustomed to do in Balochistan for more then half a century. To the best of our ability we will expose the Punjabi Pakistan’s Army’s tyrant rule in Balochistan to the world and show the world, what is this devil in disguise is doing to its own people, and we ask the progressive forces of the world to stop their support to such a tyrant, ruthless and unjust system. We never accepted force and injustice over justice and freedom in the past and we never will, Pakistani army can rest assured that the Baloch will no longer live under illegal occupation of their motherland and they will stand up united against the looting and plunder of their God given land and recourses. The Baloch will utilize instruments such as the CICC (Coalition for the International Criminal Court), recently setup in order hold accountable the army generals responsible for carrying out gross violations of human rights of the Baloch population, our loss of life, plunder (looting) of wealth and nonexistence of fundamental civil rights and freedom should not go uncounted. Punjabi Pakistan’s army and establishment should reflect on its recent past, when they committed similar deeds in Bangladesh and what fruits they had accomplished. If Bangladesh was a very useful limb of Pakistan, though it survived its amputation but Balochistan is a vital organ in the lifeline for Pakistan’s existence thus nobility should not be undermined in context of Pakistan. On many other occasions Baloch people have been massacred slaughtered looted arrested and even forced out of their homeland on false allegations of terrorism and subversion. Registering of false cases illegal detention torture extra judicial murders are all tools of this ruthless institution. Who ever cannot be bought then Punjab uses these tools to force the people. What’s taking place today in Dera Bugti is a clear example of the Pakistan’s Punjabi establishments reaction towards any Baloch who stands up against Punjabi operation exploitation and injustice. The Punjabis are indifferent towards the Baloch, thus we the Baloch should not be bystanders to what the Punjabi are inflicting on our fellow brothers. This is a clear signal and confirmation on behalf of the Punjabis that they are dividing and districting us. We should not fall short to their evil games and unite against the common evil. Inflicting misery on Dera Bugti and the Bugti’s, is inflicting pain on all Baloch, thus we will not ignore this, and more over we will proactively contribute to assist our brothers against these evil Punjabis exploitative and unjust forces. It is our responsibility as a Baloch to raise these issues to the attention of the Baloch people and the international community and unmask these evils and stop them killing and exploiting the Baloch people.
