Who gained the most Since the terror incidence on the 11 Sep. 2001 on Washington and New York, Pakistan is the only country which has benefited from the situation, It make me wonder if Pakistan is as innocent in this situation as it is pretending. In any criminal incidence first of all it is always established who has to gain from the crime and look for the motives behind it. Let us take a look at Pakistan situation before and after the tragic incidences of 11 Sep. 2001. Before 11 September 2001 Pakistan was in a total mess, economically and politically, the daily deterioration economical situation, it had no friends left in the western world, USA gave more preference to India then to Pakistan. Pakistan was on the brink of being declared a terrorist state.  After 11 September 2001 Pakistan has once again become the blue eyed boy of USA, all the sanctions have been lifted from Pakistan and relaxation in the repayment of the loans. General Musshraff has secured his position in power, all this cannot be a mere twist of fate. There is much more to it then the eye can see. Pakistan’s involvement in the talibannization of the region, support of the fundamentalist groups in Pakistan and other countries.
