Sardar Rind’s son, 4 others gunned down

QUETTA: Five tribes men including father-in-law and four year old son of tribal chieftain of Rind tribe were gunned down and injured one person by unknown armed men, near Dhadar some 140 km east of here, on Sunday evening police said. All the five tribes men died on the spot, hospital sources said adding that the injured that also received bullet injuries, was admitted for treatment and his condition was also serious. 

According to sources Haji Saleh Mohammad Rind Father-in-Law of Sardar Yar Mohammad Rind a former MNA of Jamhoori Watan Party was on his way to Dhadar along with his four year old grand son and four bodyguards in his car after looking after his fields. When his car reached near a village of Lal Shah, unknown-armed men waiting for him opened indiscriminate fire with automatic weapons resulting in killing of Saleh Mohammad his grand son along with three-armed bodyguards. The attackers after committing crime escaped from the scene. 

The police and officials of the local administration rushed to the incident side and brought the dead bodies and injured to the civil hospital Dhadar. The deceased were identified as Haji Saleh Mohammad Rind, Mir Chakar Khan Rind, four year old son of Sardar Yar Mohammad Rind, three bodyguards Sanaullah, Pir Gul and Jhanwar. 

After completing formalities the dead bodies of all the five persons were handed over to their relatives. Police has registered a case against unknown-armed men and started further investigation. No arrested was reported till late night in this connection. By Balochistanexpress.com 4.11.01
