BPLF (Baloch Peoples Liberation Front) claimed
responsibility for this attack. The message claimed that these attacks are
being carried out by the BPLF against Punjabi Pakistan, in retaliation to.
- Depriving
the Baloch people of their basic human and civil rights.
- Exploitation
and looting of Baloch natural wealth.
- Dominating
and destroying Baloch heritage and culture.
- The
heavy-handed policy against Baloch people.
- Killing
and persecuting of Baloch nationalists.
- Building
of army cantonments in Balochistan.
- Divide
and rule policy by flaring tribal disputes.
It is worth mentioning that BPLF
had been an active member of the Baloch resistance during the 70’s when
Balochistan was in the midst of an army operation by Punjabi Pakistan,
during those times tens of thousands of Baloch men, women and children
were murdered, raped and made homeless.
The Punjabi army branded innocent
Baloch people as traitors, burnt their houses threw the men into jails
from where many never returned, leaving women and children without any
food or shelter. Many perished, thousands were forced out of their
homeland and had to migrate to Afghanistan for a safe haven. But the
Punjabi thirst for Baloch blood did not quench even then.
Punjabi army till this day is in
pursuit of Baloch nationalists, branding them as bandits, thieves, foreign
agents, capturing and ruthlessly killing them. Baloch Nationalists whose
only crime is their love for their motherland, and their resolve not to
compromise their national interest under any circumstances. To stand up
and fight for their national and political interests.
Since mid 90s Punjabi Pakistan’s
hunger for Baloch land and Baloch natural resources have intensified and
thus once again the Punjabi Pakistan has decided to crush any opposition
which stands in the way of their evil plans. In the midst of such
uncertainty and desperation the Baloch nation looks forward to such
organisations as BPLF and BLA for hope, whose prominence is growing among
the people of Balochistan. They are proving themselves to be the real
saviours of Baloch land, natural resources, identity and history. 28.1.04

Three Rockets were fired from a near by area on Sui Airport. A police officer said that due to the attack heavy damage of property but no loss of life has been reported. Police took investigation in hand and lodged FIR against unknown attackers.
The Sui is the very place of Balochistan from where the Gas is being supplied to different parts of Country including entire Punjab and even till far-flung areas of Kashmir but the Baloch Nation being owner of Gas is deprived from it and its revenue.
Because of this looting of Baloch resources and keeping the Baloch people backward, a sense of deprivation is growing in Baloch people. The Baloch are trying to resist the plunder of these natural resources and struggling for justice and equality since several decades.
The Baloch are left with no other options except to physically resist this looting of their National resources. In the last few years many times the Gas pipeline, which is supplying Gas to Punjab, have been blown up and gas supply disrupted to different parts of country. 22.01.2004

army BLA an organization fighting for the rights of Baloch people and
continuously accepting responsibility for such attacks and vows that they
will not stop until they rid Balochistan from Punjabi oligarchy and its
army domination. And until they achieve independence and equality for the

BBC, Voice of America and other reliable sources have received phone
calls from BLA and accepted the responsibility for such attacks, even the
DIG police Balochistan has accepted in an interview with BBC that he has
frequently received calls from BLA claming responsibility for rocket, bomb
and other attacks on military targets. Once Jam Yousaf CM of Balochistan
himself said that the secret agencies had warned him that his life was in
danger from BLA.
Though officially the Punjabi stooges in power deny of any such
organization in Balochistan. It matters not if officially the government
accepts of any such organization or not.
Looking at the continuous and coordinated attacks on government
installations in and around Balochistan since last 5-6 years, which have
driven the Punjabi tyrants in Balochistan to their knees. Is enough proof
to any one who doesn’t live in Balochistan and know about BLA, that BLA
is a Baloch freedom fighting organization and is operating throughout
