Baloch Freedom Fighters attack and kill 8 soldiers in Bambore area

An army pickup truck on regular patrol on Gohdhi-Sangsela road on Wednesday, Baloch Freedom Fighters claimed responsibility.

According to details, Baloch Freedom Fighters targeted an army pickup truck with a remote controlled road side bomb on Gohdhi-Sansila road in Bambore area, killing eight Pakistani soldiers on the spot.

A spokesman of BLA (Baloch Liberation Army) claimed responsibility for the attack and said they targeted an army truck on patrol in Bambore area with a powerful roadside remote controlled bomb, and also said that after the blast their comrades opened fire on the vehicle killing all eight of the soldiers in the vehicle. 28.6.07
Two ISI agents shot dead in Quetta

Unknown gunmen shoot dead two ISI agents in Quetta on Monday night.

According to details, Amir Hussain Mughal and Rizwan working for the intelligence agencies ISI had come to Quetta from Mandi Bahauddin a few days prior to the incidence; they were staying in a hotel in Satellite Town.

Locals said that two gun men riding a motorcycle opened automatic fire killing Mughal and Rizwan on the spot, outside a hotel in Quetta on Tuesday and fled.

It is to be noted that attacks on police personnel, ISI agents, informers and army men has increased in Balochistan after the 26 august 2006 operation in which the great Baloch Leader Nawab Akbar Bugti was allegedly Martyred but the Baloch consider him as Missing as no one has seen his body.

Though no one claimed responsibility claimed responsibility for this attack but Baloch Freedom Fighters claim responsibility for such attacks. 27.6.07

Two main power pylons blown up in Mach, Balochistan plunges into darkness

Two main electric transmission pylons supplying power to a vast area in the Bolan district and other parts of Balochistan was blown up with explosives planted under the pylons near Mach, on Sunday night.

According to details, Baloch Freedom Fighter blue up two main electric transmission pylons with powerful explosives. The blast ripped the base of the pylons bringing down both 132KVa towers and snapping cables of several other towers.

Resulting in suspension of electric supply to all of Bolan district and several parts of Balochistan.

The Quetta Electric Supply Company sources in Sibi said “We are trying to restore power supply to affected areas through an alternative arrangement,” they said, adding that replacement of pylons would take about a week.

Two explosions rock coastal area of Pasni

Two powerful bomb explosions rocked Balochistan's Coastal area of Pasni on Friday. However no loss of life was reported in both the incidents.

The first explosion took place near the Tehsil Council Building Pasni that smashed the window panes of the building, while the second explosion occurred in the courtyard of the old Hospital.

The explosions were so powerful that they created havoc among the law enforcement agencies. However, no report of casualty or injury has been reported in the incident. 23.6.07

Two missing policemen found dead

The bullet-riddled bodies of two missing police constables were found in the Mangochar area of the Kalat district on Monday.

DIG (operations) Rehmatullah Naizi told Dawn that Dolat Khan Kasi and Mohammad Younus Bazai had gone missing in the Killi Nohasar police area on June 13.

Hospital sources said they were fired upon at point-blank range.

Mr Naizi said that it was not clear who could be involved in the killing as no one had claimed responsibility for the brutal act.

He said that families of the policemen belonged to the Killi Nohasar area and they were also posted in the same area. 19.6.07
Two blasts rock Turbat, two policemen abducted

Turbat on Sunday night was rocked by two powerful explosions.

Sources said the blasts took place near the Mullah Market of the town, causing but no casualty was reported in the blasts.

In another incident, unknown armed men kidnapped two policemen on gunpoint from the Nuhasar area. 17.6.07
Nine soldiers killed, five seven injured near Quetta, BLA claimed responsibility

Baloch Freedom Fighters attack a Van carrying Pakistani soldiers, killing seven soldiers and injuring five on late Thursday evening.

According to sources, a van carrying Pakistani solders was attacked on Zargoon road Quetta by Baloch Freedom Fighters, killing nine and injuring at least seven others.

Baloch freedom Fighters waiting on zargoon road opened fire on a convoy of army vehicles, killing nine and injuring at least seven others as they were driving toward the military cantonment in the city of Quetta just before midnight Thursday, the attack was so sudden and fierce that the army personnel no time to react.

Several attacks in Balochistan, five injured in grenade attack in Quetta

Five people, two policemen among them, were injured in a grenade attack in the Golimar Chowk area here on Tuesday night.

Sources said the grenade was hurled by two persons riding a motorcycle, adding that the incident occurred near a small roadside restaurant, injuring five of the people sitting outside.

The injured were taken to the Bolan Medical Hospital Complex where one of them was stated to be in serious condition.

The attackers escaped after lobbing the grenade. No arrest has so far been reported.

Meanwhile, the rail link between Quetta and the rest of country was suspended on Tuesday after a portion of the main railway line was blown up near Mach, about 70 kilometres from here.

According to railway authorities, a high-explosive device had been placed under the main railway line.

A large portion of the main track was blown up, suspending rail traffic all Quetta-bound trains were stopped at various railway stations after the incident.

In another incident, rockets were fired on a Frontier Corps’ checkpost in the Miwend area in Kohlu district.

Sources said that two rockets exploded near the checkpost, prompting the FC personnel to fire back after which the attackers fled. 13.7.07

Three dead and six wounded in Hub, two injured in Dera Bugti

Two bomb blasts in Balochistan have killed three people and injured six, on Saturday. The bomb was detonated by remote control late Friday in the industrial town of Hub, not far from the harbour city of Karachi.

According to details, three people were killed and six wounded when a roadside bomb blasted a passing bus in Balochistan.

Police said the bomb was detonated by remote control late on Friday in the industrial town of Hub, not far from the harbour city of Karachi.

Three people including the bus driver died on the spot while the six injured have been shifted to a Karachi hospital.

No one immediately took responsibility for the explosion but authorities have blamed previous attacks on ethnic Baloch rebels fighting for more autonomy and a greater share in profits from the region's vast mineral resources.

In another incident, two people were wounded by a roadside explosion in Dera Bugti, 225 km from Quetta, according to reports.

Baloch separatists are waging a guerrilla campaign against government forces, blowing up official buildings, railway tracks and power lines in the province.

A series of bomb blasts were staged by the insurgents in the province last month in protest of the central government's 1998 testing of a nuclear device in Balochistan. 10.06.07

According to details, some Baloch freedom Fighters of BLA fired four rockets on a army check post in Kahan Marri area.

The rockets hit the post severely damaging it, and several casualties reported but the army is trying to keep a lid on the incidence and denying of casualties.

Chinese survey team attacked near Sui, blast disrupts gas supply to purification plant

Chinese survey team camp was attacked near Sui and a main gas pipeline in the Pirkoh gas filed in Dera Bugti district was blown up early on Tuesday morning.

According to sources, an explosive device placed under the main gas pipeline, blew up a large portion of the pipeline, causing suspension of supply to the Pirkoh gas purification plant.

The powerful explosion rocked the Pirkoh township and the gas field area. The gas pipeline caught fire and all gas supply to the purification plant was suspended.

While in another incidence a Chinese survey team camp was attacked near Sui with rockets and automatic machinegun fire.

According to details, a Chinese survey team conducting a survey of gas deep wells in the Bugti area of Sui when Baloch Freedom Fighters attacked their camp with rockets and heavy automatic fire, exact number of casualties are not known but according locals several Pakistan army personnel killed and injured.

The camp sustained severe damage and heavy economical losses. BLA (Baloch Liberation Army) claimed responsibility for the attack. 6.6.07
Rocket and bomb damages FC fort gate in Noshki

Baloch Freedom Fighters attacked a FC Frontier Corps camp with rockets and bomb in Noshki on Friday.

According to details, Baloch Freedom Fighters attacked a FC Frontier Corps camp with rockets and bomb in Noshki on Friday, one of the rockets hit the front gate of the fort totally destroying it.

Meanwhile a powerful bomb, placed near another gate of the fort exploded, blowing up the gate and wall of fort.

According to locals the attack continued for half an hour and FC sustained several casualties, but the FC authorities denied of ant casualties in both incidents. 2.6.07
Railway track blown up in Balochistan all traffic suspended

Baloch Freedom Fighters blew up a railway bridge on Thursday near Quetta in Balochistan.

According to details, Baloch Freedom Fighters had placed a powerful explosive device under a railway bridge which went off with a loud bang blowing up the bridge and suspending all train service to and from Quetta to the rest of the country on Thursday.

Railway officials said explosives were used to blow up the bridge at the Spazind area, some 16 km from Quetta early Thursday morning. Train services between Quetta, the provincial capital and the rest of the country had to be suspended as a result, the sources added.

Trains to Quetta were stopped at various places after the blast, they said. Bomb blasts and attacks on railway installations in Balochistan have increased in recent days.

Police in Quetta Rehmatullah Niazi said that 13 suspects have been arrested for interrogation.

Two dozen blasts and attacks in Balochistan on the eve of the nuclear test in Chaghi

The main railway lines between Quetta with the rest of the country was disabled at two points as dozens of bomb explosions shook Balochistan, just Quetta had seven blasts on Monday. Six people were injured in these blasts and scores of army personnel killed in Marri and Bugti areas.

According to sources, six Punjabis were injured when unidentified people hurled a hand grenade on a house in the Saryaib area.

The second blast happened in Ghaffor Abad, causing extensive damage to the railway line linking Quetta with the rest of the country.

A railway official said all Quetta-bound passenger trains would be stopped at different stations preceding Quetta till the rehabilitation of the track.

Another blast took place in the Satellite Town when two persons raiding on a motorbike hurled a grenade on the house of a retired heath inspector. A number of cars parked near the house were damaged.

One of the bombs exploded near a WAPDA office, smashing windowpanes in nearby offices. Shalkot police station, and mobile phone tower in Saryaib was badly damaged in two bomb blasts.

Meanwhile, the main train line was blown up near Sibi ripping a large portion of the track and suspending all up and down traffic.

Like wise bomb blasts have been reported from Mastung, Khuzdar, Sui, Kohlu and other cities of Balochistan and Sindh.

A 30-foot portion of the main Indus Left Bank Pipeline of the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) was blown up near Qaisar Khan Lashari village in Khairpur area.

While Baloch Freedom Fighters carried out several attacks on Pakistani army camps and posts, killing at least 25 personnel and injuring several other in last 24 hours.

According to details, Baloch Freedom Fighters attacked army camps in Sia Pad Ladh, Tratani, Karmu Wadh, Chapi Kach and attacked a foot patrol in Bambore area in total killing and wounding dozens, at least 25 Pakistani soldiers are believed to be killed. While inflicting severe economical damage to the army camps, installations and setting fire to army vehicles and blowing up two bulldozers in a camp in Chapi Kach.

And news are coming from the Bugti area of attacks on the Main Sui gas installation with 107mm rockets causing casualties, damage and havoc amongst the army in the area. While a gas pipeline and a foot petrol have also been attacked in the Bugti area.

BLA (Baloch Liberation Army) claimed responsibility for the attacks and said “these attacks were to remind Punjabi Pakistani that, we the sons of the soil will not forget the great injustices and especially the nuclear test in the heart of our Fatherland Balochistan” and the spokesmen continued and said “We will avenge and Free our country from Pakistani slavery” 29.5.07
A police officer killed and two injured

Police officer was killed, two injured in a bomb explosion outside a gas company's office in Quetta, Balochistan.

According to details, a powerful bomb device placed under a police vehicle parked outside the main office of the Sui Gas Company went of late Sunday was in the provincial capital Quetta.

A police officer was killed on the spot while two other employees were wounded, the blast also damaged several other government vehicles and shattered windows of the building.

Army oil depot attacked in Quetta, army post hit in Karmu Wadh three killed

At least four rockets fired on army oil depot in Quetta Balochistan metropolis and army post attacked in Karmu Wadh on Sunday.

According to source, Baloch Freedom Fighters fired at least four RPG rockets on the main army oil storage depot in the cantonment area of Quetta.

The rockets hit the oil reservoirs tanks in the depot severely damaging them. This was a very well planned and targeted attack on army installation by Baloch insurgents.

Meanwhile in another incidence Baloch Freedom Fighters attacked an army post in Karmu Wadh, Marri area. They fired several rockets and heavy machinegun fire , the attack continued for more one hour. Resulting in the deaths of at least three Pakistani armymen and wounding several others.

Meanwhile, a group of armed men kidnapped two government officels Patwaris of the Balochistan government from Senheri area close to Sindh-Balochistan border.

Sibi-Harnai electric transmission pylon blown up

Baloch Freedom Fighters brought down power supply pylon of the Sibi-Harnai transmission line early on Thursday.


According details, Baloch Freedom Fighters brought down a main line 132-KV power supply pylon of the Sibi-Harnai transmission line early on Thursday morning near the Kalatak area, disrupting electricity supply to a large area in the Harnai tehsil.

The electric pylon No. 64 was fitted with explosive, which went off early Thursday morning, bringing the tower to the ground and with it, several other towers also collapsed. All electric supply to the area suspended.

Two attacks in Marri area, three killed and four injures

Three army personnel killed and three seriously injured when they were attacked by Baloch freedom fighters of BLA (Baloch Liberation Army) in Nall, meanwhile army informer injured in landmine blast in Chapi Kach area on Kahan-Kohlu road on Wednesday.

According to details, five member army patrolling team was attacked in the Nall area of Shamani 25km from Kahan. The patrol was first hit by a remote controlled explosive device, and sprayed by automatic fire killing at least tthree and injuring three.

Meanwhile in a separate incidence a Punjabi army informer seriously injured when he stepped on a anti personnel landmine in Chapi Kach area on Kahan-Kohlu road.

A security man was injured when a landmine went off in Dera Bugti area on Saturday.

According to sources, a Pakistani soldier Mohammad Saeed was in a van which ran over the landmine planted in the outskirts of Dera Bugti. The van was badly damaged in the powerful explosion.

Baloch guerrillas claim to have capture six FC personnel

A New Baloch guerrilla organisation on Friday claimed to have kidnapped six Frontier Corps personnel in Mashkil tehsil while a security forces employee was injured in a landmine blast and three rockets were fired on a check post in Balochistan.

Six Frontier Corps personnel were kidnapped by a Baloch guerrilla organisation on Friday morning in an area between Mashkil tehsil of Washuk district and Kharan. Raiz Uateem, a spokesman of Baloch Chapamar Tanzeem, told the media that the organisation had kidnapped five FC officials and placed them under custody. He refused to make any demands, adding that the organisation’s leader would present his own demands.

The spokesman identified the kidnapped personnel as Gul Rehman, Habibullah, Akram Khatak and Iqbal Sawati. He did not reveal the names of the other two men.

Meanwhile, a security forces personnel was injured in the Pir Koh area of Dera Bugti district in a landmine blast on Friday evening. In a separate incident, three rockets were fired on a security forces check post in Sui. Ikhtiar Bugti, a Baloch militants’ spokesman claimed responsibility for the landmine blast and the rockets. 12.5.07
Several bomb blasts, rocket and grenade attacks in Balochistan

Musharraf’s visit triggered dozens of attacks all over Balochistan on Thursday.

According to details, three explosions were heard in Quetta the capital of Balochistan and two powerful bomb explosions in Sibi the second biggest city of Balochistan.

Meanwhile bomb blasts and rocket attacks in Khuzdar, Sui, Dera Bugti and attacks on army posts in Marri-Bugti areas.

According to details from Sui, two explosive devices went off exactly when Musharraf was delivering his speech and making loud claims of wiping out Baloch resistance, and since at least fourteen rockets have been fired at the army camp and gas installations in Sui.

Meanwhile, several rockets fired on the FC (frontier corps) headquarters in Dera Bugti, and a powerful bomb blast in Khuzdar.

Army patrol attacked in Marri area of Gandar two killed and one injured and an army post attacked in the Dohi Wadh area killing six and injuring several others and totally destroying.

A spokesman of BLA (Baloch Liberation Army) claimed responsibility for the attacks and said Musharraf should pray for his wellbeing then threaten Baloch or offer amnesty. Musharraf and Punjabis should run for their lives from Balochistan while they can or they wont know what hit them. 10.5.07
Two consecutive bomb blasts in Sibi

Two powerful bomb blasts within fifteen minute interval in Sibi city, one near a Punjabi officers house and the second one in government offices in the city at 11am on Thursday morning.

According to sources, two powerful explosive devices went off in Sibi the second largest city in Balochistan.

According to initial reports, one of the explosive devices planted near the house of a Punjabi officer, went off with powerful bang at 11am on Thursday morning. The police cordoned of the area and the exact details of damage and casualties not know yet.

Mean while another bomb planted near the government buildings went off damaging the irrigation office building and shattering windowpanes of surrounding buildings. No details of casualties wet known.

Bomb explodes near minister’s home in Quetta

A powerful bomb exploded near the home of the provincial livestock minister in the railway housing society here on Wednesday night.

The bomb was planted just 15 yards away from the house of Livestock Minister Mir Abdul Qadoos Bizenjo in a resident of the area of railway housing society.

Sources said that windowpanes of minister’s and nearby houses were smashed and a portion of the wall of the house was damaged in the blast. However, no casualty was reported.

The minister and his family were not present in the house at the time of the blast. It was the second bomb blast near the residence of the provincial minister.

Meanwhile another explosive device planted near a police station of Quetta satellite town went off with a loud bang and seriously damaging the surrounding buildings.

Fifteen army men killed and eight injured in three attacks

Baloch Freedom Fighters attack army convoy, patrol and camp killing at least fifteen personnel and injuring several others on Monday.

According to sources, at least fifteen Pakistani army personnel killed and eight injured in three different attacks in Marri area.

An army convoy travelling from Sangsella to Kahan was hit with a extremely powerful remote controlled device, a truck carrying eighteen army personnel was hit ripping it to pieces killing at least twelve and seriously injuring six.

In another incidence, army foot petrol was ambushed in the Chapi Kach Marri area on Kohlu-Kahan road, one killed two injured.

Meanwhile wet in another incidence in the Marri area an anti personnel landmine went off killing one army personnel and injuring one in the Peshi area of Bambore range.

At least sixteen Pakistani soldiers were killed and several injured in a attack in Tartani area of Kohlu district on Sunday.

According to sources, Baloch Freedom Fighters attacked an army camp with heavy automatic fire and mortar shells from mountains. Dozens of shells exploded in the camp area. The camp totally destroyed and several vehicles burnet to ashes.

Six army men killed in ambush in Bambore

Baloch Freedom Fighters ambush a Pakistani army foot patrol killing all six soldiers and taking away their ammunition at 6pm Friday evening.

According to sources, six army personnel were patrolling the Bambore area of Kahan when Baloch Freedom Fighters ambushed and killed all six and took away their weapons.

Attacks on army posts and convoys are a matter of routine in this area, while the Pakistani army and air force usually bombard civilian population in these areas.

Several bomb explosions in Balochistan

Several powerful bomb blasts in different cities of Balochistan including Quetta on Wednesday.

All of Balochistan including the capital Quetta shook with powerful bomb explosions on Wednesday just two days after the proclamation of the Imported Governor of Balochistan that all resistance and Parrari camps have been eradicate.

According to details, three powerful blasts shook different parts of Quetta. In one of the incidence a large portion of a 13inch diameter gas supply pipeline blown up near Killi Dad Shah Marri on the western bypass, disrupting gas supply to different parts of the Quetta and several surrounding villages.

While in another bomb blast in Mir Colony of Syraib Mills area, a post office and other government buildings were damaged.

In a third bomb blast the house of a Punjabi officer was targeted. The explosion ripped a large portion of the wall and the roof of the house. No casualties were reported as no one was in the house at the time of the blast.

Meanwhile, a powerful timed bomb device went off with a loud blast in Gulrang Market area of Turbat city. Shattering windowpanes of surrounding buildings.

A spokesman of BLA (Baloch Liberation Army) claimed responsibility for the attacks and said, “The Baloch freedom fighters take special care in avoiding causalities of innocent civilians.” 3.5.07
A powerful bomb blast near Mand police station

Powerful bomb explosion targeted a police station in Soroo, Mand Headquarter at on Tuesday night.

According to details, a powerful bomb targeted a police station and workshop owned by Punjabi trader, in Mand Sooro at 10:30 pm Tuesday evening, the blast severely damaged the workshop and police station and surrounding buildings.

Man injured in mine explosion

One person suffered injuries in a landmine explosion in Denari Pat area of Dera Bugti, on Wednesday.

Sources said, Bilal Bugti working for a company constructing a road in Sui area, he was seriously injured when his was on a tractor supplying crushed stones to the work site hit the landmine. 25.4.07
Bomb explosion damages government building in Kalat

A government office damaged in an explosion in Kalat town on Monday morning.

Sources said that the bomb had been planted near the office located at Shahi Mehal Road.

No casualty was reported but the blast ripped through the building and damaged several nearby houses and offices.

Meanwhile, hundreds of telephone connections remained inoperative on Monday in Kalat after Baloch Freedom Fighters blew up two phone company switch cabinets on Sunday night near the local exchange.

PTCL staff told this correspondent that the damaged equipment was being repaired but complete restoration would take some time.

Army informer beheaded in Balochistan

Mir Hassan Bugti an army informer was beheaded in Pirco area some 45km from Dera Bugti town, on Monday.

According to details, Mir Hassan Bugti an informer for the Punjabi army was publicly beheaded in Bobie Tal in the Pirkoh area.

Wedera Alam Khan a Spokesman of the Baloch Freedom Fighters said that Mir Hassan Bugti was warned earlier not to collaborate with the Baloch enemy and if he was ever caught again informing the army he will face the consequences.

But, Mir Hassan Bugti did not stop leaking information to the Punjabi army, which caused the arrests of two Baloch Freedom Fighters and bombardment of their homes.

He was apprehended and today he was publicly beheaded to convey a clear massage to all Punjabi informers and Baloch traitors, that a similar fate awaits them if they work against the Baloch interests, Baloch cause and the Baloch Nation. 24.4.07
Attacks in Dera Bugti and Kohlu areas, Bomb blast in Mand

Attacks on army posts in Dera Bugti and Kohlu districts reported, several army personnel killed and heavy economic losses inflicted, meanwhile bomb blast in Mand on Sunday.

According reports, Baloch Freedom Fighters attack an army camp near Dera Bugti killing at least four Pakistani soldiers injuring twenty seriously damaging the camp and setting fire to six vehicles on Sunday.

Baloch Freedom Fighters launched a massive attack on an army camp located about 6km from the main Dera Bugti town. Baloch fighters surrounded the camp from three sides and launched the massive and sudden attack in the early evening.

The attack was so sudden and intense that the army did not have time retaliate. Intense rocket and heavy automatic fire continued for more then two hours killing four army men and injuring more then twenty.

The remaining army personnel fled the camp, Baloch fighters (Parrari) took the necessary ammunitions from the army camp what they could carry and set fire to the vehicles, tents and all the equipment in the camp.

Meanwhile, two army personnel killed and one injured in an attack by Baloch Freedom Fighters (Parrari) on a foot patrol in the Bambore range of Kohlu district.

A spokesman of Baloch Parraries Wedera Alam Khan claimed responsibility for the attacks.

In another incidence a bomb planted near Federal Minister Zubida Jallals house and FC camp went off damaging the post office building and shattering windowpanes of nearby houses on Sunday.

Rail track blown up in Quetta, two ISI personnel killed and three injured in Quetta and Sibi

The railway link between the provincial metropolis and rest of the country was cut off after the main railway track was blown up here late Thursday night, meanwhile ISI personnel killed in Quetta and Sibi.

According to sources, Baloch Freedom Fighters blow up the train track near the Degree College near Musa Colony, Quetta.

A portion of the railway track was destroyed in the blast, the police official said. Railway authorities said that all Quetta-bound trains originating from Karachi, Rawalpindi and Lahore were stopped at Sibi and other stations until the damaged railway track was repaired.

Meanwhile in two different attacks on Pakistani ISI two killed and three injured.

According to details, two ISI personnel were injured in a bomb blast in Sibi and four injured in Quetta in an ambush by Baloch Freedom Fighters, two of them later died.

Eighteen army personnel killed in Balochistan

In three different attacks on army, posts at least eighteen personnel killed and several injured on Wednesday.

According to details, in three different attacks by Baloch Freedom Fighters on army posts at least eighteen army personnel killed and several injured.

In an attack on an army petrol in Tahmoor pool, Hasapudh area some 40km south of Kahan all twelve soldiers were wiped out by Baloch Freedom Fighters. The foot petrol was clearing landmines when they were attacked Baloch Freedom Fighters.

Meanwhile in another attack on a army post in the Dohi Wadh some 20km north of Kahan at least three army men killed and others injured.

Yet in another attack by Baloch Freedom Fighters in the Bambore three more soldiers killed and one injured.

More electric pylons blown up in Balochistan

Power supply to Guddu power plant from Uch was suspended on Monday as two towers of the transmission line were blown up near Dera Allahyar.

Sources said explosive devices went off near two pylons of the 220kV transmission line near Dera Allahyar bypass in the evening.

Meanwhile, the Quetta Electric Supply Company said that they had repaired the 11 huge towers of the main transmission lines blown up in Bolan district two week ago.

The supply of the districts had been suspended on March 27 when four towers of Quetta-Sibi 220kV and 132kV transmission lines were blown up in Aab-i-Gum area.

While Qesco staff was replacing the damaged towers, four other towers were blown up in Mach area and two were found damaged later.

Qesco Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Shafiq Khattak said the repair had cost around Rs 8 million and the company had lost Rs 20 million revenue daily.

Army personnel killed in a rocket attack in Bambore

Baloch Freedom Fighters fired Rockets at an army post in Bambore Kohlu District, killing several army personnel and the attackers got away unharmed on Monday afternoon.

According to sources, eight rockets were fired at Bambore top check post, three rockets hit the post and exploded killing at least three army personnel killed and two injured in the attack.

Landmine explosion in Balochistan, two soldiers killed one injured

Two Pakistani soldiers were killed and another seriously injured in a landmine blast in Balochistan, on Friday.

According to details, a Pakistani soldier was killed and another injured in the Manjra Taratani area, 30km southwest of Kahan, and another soldier was killed in a antipersonnel landmine blast not far from the first incidence.

The second Pakistani soldier was killed when army personnel came to the place of the first incidence to collect their dead and wounded, as they got close and started attending the injured the second bomb went off killing the second person on the spot.

Three towns rocked by blasts

A house was attacked with a hand-grenade in Mach town, some 70km east of Quetta, and two powerful explosions were heard, one in Wadh and the other in Mastung town, on Wednesday.

According to sources, the hand grenade hurled on the house of Bashir Ahmed Gujar damaged a portion of the roof. There was no casualty.

Army post attacked three killed several injured near Kahan

BLA (Baloch Liberation Army) fighters launched a rocket attack at the armed forces post in Hasapudh area near Kahan in Kohlu District on Monday.

According to details , on Monday Baloch Freedom Fighters attacked an army check post with RPG rockets and automatic fire in Hasapudh about 25km southeast of Kahan in Bambore range, killing three army personnel on the spot and injuring several others.

This was the second attack in the area within a few hours, in an earlier attack an army convoy of three vehicles was attacked killing twelve soldiers and injuring several.

Fighter’s jets, Helicopters and thousands of infantry bombard Balochistan

Fighter jets, helicopter, gun ships bombarded the areas of Dilband, Johan, Splinji and Pari. The bombardment started at dawn and continued all day.

According to details, thousands of Pakistani army cordoned off the entire area and fighter jets bombarded the areas of Dilband, Johan, Splinji and Pari indiscriminately all day on Monday.

Hundreds of sorties were carried out in the area, at noon helicopter gunships appeared and started targeting the population, and several helicopters were involved in dropping commandos in the area.

It’s feared that many local people have been killed in these bombardments. News coming from the area confirms that several hundred bombs have hit populated areas.

According to a spokesperson of BLA (Baloch Liberation Army), several clashes took place between the Pakistan army and Baloch Freedom Fighters in the area, and the army has sustained several casualties. The fighting and bombardment of the area continued late in the evening.

Twelve Pakistani soldiers killed several injured in Balochistan

Baloch freedom fighters attacked a military vehicle in Tratani area of Kahan, Balochistan on Monday killing twelve soldiers and wounding several.

According to details, Baloch Freedom Fighters targeted an army convoy traveling from Karmu Wadh to wards Kahan when it came under attack at 12 noon on Monday. A truck carrying several army personnel was blown up with a powerful remote controlled device. The truck was blown up into pieces killing all.

After the explosion Baloch insurgents opened fire with heavy machine guns and rocket launchers on the remaining vehicles killing several others. According to a spokesman of BLA (Baloch Liberation Army) at least twelve Pakistani soldiers were killed and same number were injured in the attack.

Later helicopter gunship’s came to collect the dead and wounded but Baloch Fighters fired rockets on them. The firing continued for more then an hour not letting the helicopters to land.

Constable killed in another injured in Quetta, bomb blast in Pasni and two injured in Sui

A police constable killed and another critically injured in an ambush by Baloch insurgents in Quetta, Two Bugti tribesmen were seriously injured in two different incidents, a powerful explosion rocked Pasni on Wednesday.

According to sources, a police pickup truck came under heavy automatic gunfire when it was on routine patrol in Killi Shabo, a locality in the outskirts of Quetta city.

It is believed that two insurgents waiting, opened fire on police pickup from a very close range killing a Constables on the spot and critically injuring the other. Both of the insurgents escaped unharmed after the attack.

Mean while Two Bugti tribesmen were seriously injured in two different incidents on Wednesday.

Sources said that Jangle Khan Bugti was seriously injured when he accidentally hit a landmine in Denari Pat area of Sui. In the second incident in Delar Pat area of Sui, a Bugti tribesman was injured when a rocket hit the area where the man was sitting.

Meanwhile, a powerful explosion rocked Pasni city on Wednesday night. Baloch insurgents bombed the building of a  PTV  (Pakistan Television) Station. The bomb destroyed the TV booster and damaged a large portion of television station building.

Landmine kills Qesco technician

A technician of the Quetta Electric Supply Company (Qesco) was killed on Tuesday when he struck a landmine during the repair work of the transmission lines damaged in subversive acts in Bolan district.

Qesco sources confirming the casualty told on Tuesday that Noorullah was deputed along with other technical staff of Qesco at the site of the damaged electricity installations in the Kajhori area of Bolan, when he was hit by a landmine by Baloch Parrari’s (Freedom Fighters).

Four towers of 220 KV double-circuit and 132 KV transmission line were blown up in Bolan on April 1, causing power suspension in over 18 districts of Balochistan.

Baloch Parrari’s attack army posts killing several, and  blasts in different parts of Balochistan

Baloch Parrari (Freedom Fighters) attack army post in Kahan area of Laddave Kach some 60km southwest of Kahan at noon today Sunday 1 April 2007, meanwhile another army post was attacked in the area of Tratani Kour (River) near Mehi in Kahan area on yesterday evening 31 March 2007.

According to details, Baloch Parraries pounded the army base in Tratani Cour (river) with mortars shells, rockets and heavy machine gun fire for more then ninety minutes, the base was attacked at around 5pm Saturday evening. Several army personnel were killed and injured, four vehicles were burnet and the base was destroyed.

Fresh news of another army post was attacked in the Laddave Kach area some 60km south-west of Kahan. According to details, the post was attacked at 2pm afternoon today Sunday. The attack was so sudden and intense that the army had no time to retaliate. The post was manned by 12 to 14 army personnel and no was seen moving after the attack.

According to a spokes man of the Baloch Parrari’s six bodies of soldiers were seen but they believe most of them were killed in the attack.

Meanwhile news of bomb blast in other parts of Balochistan. A powerful bomb blasts rocked the coastal town of Pasni which damaged the walls of a government office.

Another explosion in Mastung, about 55 kilometres from Quetta, damaged a medical store and some nearby houses, the blast so powerful that was heard all over the town of Mastung.

In a separate incident, railway traffic between Quetta and the rest of the country was disrupted when Baloch Freedom Fighters blew up the main track near the Aab-e-Gum area on Saturday night.

Sources said the insurgents placed the explosive device under the track near the railway tunnel No 9 and blew it up suspending the traffic between Quetta and other parts of the country.
